About Stonex Homes
How it all started
Stonex Homes began in 2018 with a simple belief from our founder, Parm Maan: every family deserves a home that is beautifully designed, built to last and within reach. In our first year we delivered six brand-new homes, each one affordable yet modern in every detail.
In 2019 we grew our team and took on new projects, and that same year we became a Stamford approved builder. In 2020 we became a Registered Master Builder, a mark of the quality and care that goes into every home we build.
Since our first six homes, we’ve completed more than 300 homes. Today Stonex Homes is a leading property development and building company in Auckland, also building in Hamilton, Tauranga and Queenstown, and every home still gets the same personal attention it did on day one.
About Parm Maan
Director & CEO
Parm Maan’s journey in building began in 2011, when he started his own earthworks and landscaping business. Wanting to understand every side of the property market, he went on to study real estate and in 2013 joined Barfoot & Thompson as a sales professional, where he earned recognition as one of their top award-winning agents.
In 2015 Parm began his own property developments while working with another building company, gaining hands-on experience from the ground up. In 2018 he brought it all together and officially founded Stonex Homes.
A Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) with a Diploma in Construction, Parm is still closely involved in the day-to-day running of Stonex Homes. His goal is simple: to keep raising the standard of every home we build while delivering quality, affordable housing across New Zealand.
